Dr. Sasha Monteiro, ND is a Naturopathic Doctor who is passionate about helping patients feel their best and take an active role in their health. She takes a collaborative and personalized approach to care, working with patients to address both immediate concerns and long-term health goals. Whether you are seeking support for a specific condition or looking to optimize your overall wellbeing, Dr. Sasha aims to create a space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health journey.
Dr. Sasha believes that healthcare is not a one-size-fits-all approach. She uses an evidence-informed, integrative model of care that may include nutrition and lifestyle counseling, targeted supplementation, lab testing, and other naturopathic therapies to support recovery, performance, and overall health.
Her clinical interests include digestive health, metabolic health, mental wellness, and hormone balance, while also supporting patients looking to improve energy, resilience, and day-to-day wellbeing.
Dr. Sasha holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph. She completed her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she was selected for a highly competitive clinical mental health shift and received additional training in integrative mental health care.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Sasha is a certified naturopathic doula and is a member in good standing with both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). She is committed to continuing education and staying current with research to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care.
