Savannah is a dedicated physiotherapist originally from Millville, NB. She obtained her Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University in 2023 following her completion of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2020. During her Physiotherapy degree, Savannah chose to travel to Alberta and British Columbia for placements to gain valuable experience in how physiotherapy differs across this country. This experience has shaped the way she assesses and treats her clients and allows her to appreciate and implement a holistic, person-centered, and individualized approach to therapy.
As a physiotherapist, Savannah values an active treatment approach while providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for her clients. She values and appreciates the importance of educating individuals in the context of their injury so that they have the tools to be fully engaged in their rehabilitation. Savannah believes that creating an environment with the client that is both empowering and collaborative is key to successful rehabilitation.
Savannah enjoys treating a variety of orthopaedic and sport-related conditions, and has a special interest in treating individuals with neurological illness or injury as well as concussions. Savannah has additional training in concussion rehabilitation, treatment of adults with neurological injury/illness, vision rehabilitation in neurological populations, as well as mentorship with prosthetic training. When not at Rehab1, Savannah works full-time at The Moncton Hospital.
In her spare time, Savannah enjoys furthering her knowledge and skills in physiotherapy assessment and treatment of various populations, as well as spending time with her rescue dog, running, strength training, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Savannah looks forward to working with you by helping develop an empowered and individualized approach to your rehab and working toward your goals!

Select this option if you are (1) NEW to our clinic or (2) your injury has returned but you have not been treated for this injury in our clinic for over 6months, or (3) you have been assessed for this injury by a Rehab1 Physiotherapist but wish to switch to another Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapy Assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and biomechanical evaluation with a Physiotherapist on our Rehab1 Team. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper physiotherapy treatment plan.
Select this ONLY after you have been assessed by one of our Rehab1 Physiotherapists for the current injury AND will be returning for treatment with that specific Physiotherapist. If you are a previous patient but have not been in our clinic IN OVER 6 MONTHS, a "Physiotherapy Initial Assessment" must be selected.
ONLY select this option if you have already been assessed by a Rehab1 Physiotherapist for the current injury. * This session includes Shockwave therapy in addition to exercises prescription, manual therapy, and other modalities as deemed appropriate by your Physiotherapist.

The Physiotherapy Assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and evaluation with our Physiotherapists, Stephanie Melanson and Kate Tweedie, who has been trained in the area of urinary incontinence. This examination is MANDATORY for all NEW PATIENTS seeking this service here at REHAB1. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper physiotherapy treatment plan. We are now offering physiotherapy treatment sessions that will be conducted virtually for our clients that are unable to make it into the clinic for any particular reason. Please note that our virtual sessions are done with the help of our Jane online software - you will not be required to download anything. We have made this quite easy for you and hope you enjoy your treatment session!

Our TPI Golf Certified Physiotherapists will assess the biomechanics of your golf swing and identify what physical aspects may be affecting your game. Faulty and limited movement patterns can greatly affect your golf swing, decrease your distance, and also cause pain. They will create an exercise & stretching program customized to you. Then your information will be shared with our Golf Professional, Gerard Aliling, who will conduct a Full swing assessment and develop a swing program to correct the issues and optimize your golf swing.

This appointment should be booked if you are having issues related to balance, dizziness, or other vestibular related conditions.
