Sereen is a registered physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people regain confidence in their movement and empowering them to return to the activities most important to them. She takes a client-centered approach to her practice, working collaboratively with her clients to understand their goals and develop individualized treatment plans and management strategies that fit their lifestyle.
Sereen has extensive experience working in acute hospital care within medical units, where she helps patients regain mobility and independence. She has worked with a variety of conditions including hip fractures, post–hip and knee replacements, acute stroke, lower limb amputations, prolonged ICU stays, and more. She also has experience providing chest physiotherapy for acute and chronic lung conditions. Through her clinical experience, she has a special interest in working with geriatric populations and supporting women during the ante- and post-natal stages.
Sereen began her academic journey at Simon Fraser University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Kinesiology. She later travelled to Scotland to earn her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University.
She is fluent in English and Cantonese, and speaks conversational Mandarin.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys baking, exploring new restaurants, and staying active through dance, figure skating, and fitness classes.
