**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Running a residential cleaning business.
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
Following the loss of my parents to illness, I searched for a meaningful way to turn grief into healing. RMT represents the 'attainable dream' - a gateway into the medical field where I can make a tangible difference in people's lives.
I also share my story of career transition to inspire my children and my clients alike: you are never stuck. Regardless of your past, your age, or the language you speak, there is always an opportunity to rebuild and grow.
I want to translate this same resilience and 'never-give-up' spirit into every treatment session. My goal is applying my clinical training to help patients overcome physical barriers just as I have overcome my own. Whether pain relief, stress reduction, or functional improvement, I am dedicated to supporting patients’ wellness journey with the same heart and persistence that brought me to this profession.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
In my free time, I enjoy caring for my plants, spending time in nature, hiking, walking, and exploring new experiences.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
What I appreciate most about studying at VCMT is the well-organized learning system and the strong academic support. The instructors are not only knowledgeable, but also warm, responsible, and truly committed to helping students grow.
**Do you speak fluently any languages other than English?**
Mandarin.
