Hello, I am Shae! I completed my Doctor of Acupuncture at MacEwan University, and I have additional training in electroacupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na massage, and movement-based rehabilitation.
I am passionate about helping patients move better, feel better, and return to the activities they enjoy. I provide a compassionate, individualized approach, tailoring each treatment to meet each patient’s unique goals.
My goal is to look beyond symptom relief by identifying the underlying factors contributing to pain or dysfunction, helping patients reduce discomfort, restore movement, and achieve lasting improvements in their health.
I can treat a wide variety of conditions, but I have a special interest in sports injuries, pain management, headaches and migraines, women’s health, digestive health, and nervous system regulation.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy strength training, running, biking, and yoga. As a fitness and yoga instructor for over nine years, movement has always been an important part of my life. Having experienced injuries or setbacks myself, I understand the challenges they bring, and I am passionate about helping others recover and confidently return to work, sports, and the activities they love.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve your overall well-being, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your recovery.

ACUPUNCTURE ASSESSMENT NEEDED PRIOR TO SELECTING THIS SERVICE. This can be booked if an Acupuncture assessment has already taken place, and you would like to have an hour acupuncture treatment plus 30 minutes of Fire Cupping during one session. Fire cupping is a traditional therapy that uses glass cups to create a gentle suction on the skin. A small flame is briefly introduced into the cup to create a vacuum before placement on the body. This suction draws the skin slightly upward into the cup to promote local blood flow, release muscle tension, move Qi and Blood, and support detoxification through the skin.
Book this option for a specialized holistic facial acupuncture treatment. Using a combination of facial acupuncture, body points, GuaSha, Tuina, and more, this personalized treatment aims to support circulation, promote a natural healthy glow, and address your individual concerns over 60 mins of relaxation. Some common target areas include fine lines, acne, scarring, skin tone, texture, puffiness, facial tension, and overall skin vitality.

PLEASE NOTE: For billing, we can provide this service under the umbrella of "Acupuncture" coverage as it is a registered acupuncturist providing the treatment. Some insurance plans may offer cupping as a separate modality in which the plan member will be required to pay and submit manually to use alternate coverage rather than having it billed under Acupuncture by the clinic. Please advise the clinic if your insurance provides this option for you.
