As a licensed massage therapist, Shannon has spent 12 years as a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Shannon graduated in 2009 from The Canadian Therapeutic Collage and since that time has had the privilege of working in many different atmospheres including spas, chiropractic clinics as well as high performance athletic programs. Shannon has worked with clients of diverse ages, presenting an array of conditions. She has helped her clients experience relief from chronic pain and injury while preparing a tailored treatment plan based on specific needs.
Since starting her career as a RMT she has skillfully learned and applied techniques and modalities of Massage Therapy including, Swedish Massage, Deep tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Trigger point therapy and Fascial techniques. These techniques have helped her clients relieve muscle tightness caused by stress, shorten recovery time for injured athletes, assist in rehabilitation of sprains or strains and help eliminate pain.
Shannon has always had a passion for helping others and is looking forward to helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Besides Massage Therapy Shannon enjoys hiking, reality TV and spending time with family and friends.
