Shannon grew up with a very athletic and active lifestyle, and still actively participates in dance, baseball, field hockey and yoga to mention a few. This background has provided her with a unique perspective on the function, potential and limitations of the human body. It is what has allowed her to effectively treat athletes at every level of performance, from the NHL, CFL, MLB and Olympians, right through to the weekend warrior.
She believes in helping patients return to optimal function as quickly and effectively as possible through a combination of soft tissue work, injury rehabilitation, mobility work, functional assessments and patent education.
She graduated in 2009 from the massage therapy program, and has since completed her Bachelor of Health Science, Clinical Pilates Instructor Training, and her Personal Training Specialist certificate.

If you are wanting to start treatment before your claim has been approved, you may do so, but you must pay the ICBC rate of initial session plus co-pay until claim is approved. Only available to ICBC patients who have completed their first ICBC Initial Assessment Treatment. If this is your first ICBC booking please call the clinic to get your file set up with us. If painPRO has confirmed your claim has approved sessions, ICBC will pay for the majority of your massage treatment. There is an additional co-pay amount that the patient needs to take care of personally. Patients wanting a longer treatment length will need to call 604-683-7246. You will be required to pay for the extra treatment time. ICBC will not reimburse you for any extra charges.

What you can expect from your Clinical Pilates session is primarily Pilates-focused therapeutic exercise with manual therapy blended in. Our RMTs utilize their broad scope of massage techniques before, during and after your treatment. You might experience techniques like myofascial release, joint mobilization, articular strain techniques and assisted stretching combined with individualized rehab-focused Clinical Pilates. Bring exercise clothes! Expect to be active for the duration of your session.
