Shannon graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2004, and has been working as a Massage Therapist in a multidisciplinary setting for 22 years. Over the years she has treated many clients who have had joint related injuries and replacements or who been involved in motor vehicle accidents. She has additional training in pregnancy massage, myofascial release and has taken several courses in orthopaedic injuries and whiplash related injuries. Shannon is comfortable treating children and elderly clients. When treating clients, Shannon uses numerous Swedish Massage techniques and is able to offer deep tissue work in combination with relaxation techniques. Her belief is that it’s important to activate the clients parasympathetic nervous system to promote overall relaxation and well being.
