Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a system of assisted stretching which focuses on the muscles, joints, and connective tissue. While laying on the treatment table, Sharon will gently bring you into specific stretches to help facilitate relaxation and movement into your body. This is a follow-up from the Initial Assessment & it's a General Relaxation (Swedish) Massage. The massage therapist will determine if there have been any changes to your condition and then begin the treatment. She may use heat or ice therapy to help with pain control and muscle relaxation. The massage therapist will also offer stretches and postural advice to help promote further muscle relaxation and prevent future problems. Please note that our therapist will be taking five minutes to assess before and after every subsequent treatment.
