Sharon takes a holistic approach to each client’s care, aiming to address all layers of tissue that may be contributing to dysfunction. Her therapeutic goal is not only to alleviate symptoms but to identify and treat the underlying sources of imbalance. She draws from a diverse range of techniques tailored to each individual’s needs.
In addition to completing the rigorous 3,000-hour training program required to become a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia, Sharon has pursued extensive post-graduate education. Her advanced training includes Cranio-Sacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute; Visceral Manipulation and Neuro-Manipulation through the Barral Institute; as well as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, manual lymphatic drainage, passive hydrotherapy, and Aquanetics (a form of active hydrotherapy).
Sharon’s practice supports a wide range of conditions, offering assessments that often include postural evaluations to identify misalignments and stress patterns. Treatment sessions may incorporate Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and orthopedic rehabilitation—always delivered within the framework of Registered Massage Therapy.
Clients seek her expertise for a variety of concerns, including postural imbalances, post-traumatic stress, surgical scar tissue work, motor coordination impairments, recovery from motor vehicle or cycling accidents, TMJ dysfunction, repetitive strain injuries, general pain, stress, headaches, sports injuries, and support for athletic training.
Sharon is deeply committed to helping her clients reduce pain, improve body awareness, and support the body’s natural healing processes through thoughtful, integrative care.
She warmly welcomes anyone interested in exploring the wide-ranging benefits of Massage Therapy to reach out.
