Shelly is a Registered Massage Therapist who has found her home with Goodwill Healing after graduating from Fanshawe College in 2016. She has accumulated more than 6,000 hours of training as a manual therapist. This time includes 2 years at Fanshawe College with the Accelerated Massage Therapy program, 1 year in the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist assistant program with Mohawk College, 1 year in the Pre-Health Sciences at Cambrian College, and a 4 month Structural Integration/Myofascial Release course.
Due to her passion for learning and attention to detail, she focuses on developing specialized care plans to meet her patients’ needs. Her practice utilizes a variety of techniques, including Myofascial Release to work through soft tissue trauma and to help resolve tension within the body. Shelly is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and continues to upgrade her skills through specified courses, peer interaction, and keeping up-to-date with current science-based literature.
Dedicated and passionate about her profession, Shelly is dedicated to helping others enjoy a healthy and fortuitous lifestyle. When not at work, Shelly enjoys being active outdoors, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
