Shenise earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia after concluding a Bachelor of Human Kinetics. She then went on to complete the Diploma of Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT).
Shenise enjoys working with all kinds of pain and injuries, and has a keen focus on Foot & Ankle injuries and rehabilitation, having spent a large part of her career developing skills in this niche area through Footbridge Centre for Integrated Orthopaedic Care in Vancouver B.C. She loves a complex case that requires problem solving and uses a whole-body approach when assessing and treating pain. She has a strong focus on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education on load management and optimization. She also offers AN-IMS Dry Needling, trained through Foundations Health Education. Shenise really enjoys collaborating with other health care professionals in the community and has spent many years encouraging this approach in practice.
Being a movement and fresh air enthusiast, Shenise's hope is to make movement and being outside a joy to anyone struggling with pain or wanting to optimize their abilities. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!
