Sherri Widynowski is a Registered Provisional Psychologist providing psychological counselling services at Maloney Elkassem Wellness in St. Albert, Alberta.
Sherri holds a Bachelor of Education from University of Alberta and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from City University in Seattle, Washington.
Sherri is well-versed in providing holistic and integrative psychological counseling. Her approach is adaptive, incorporating techniques from Somatic Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to effectively respond to the shifting needs and challenges faced by her clients.
With over two decades of experience in the educational system as a school teacher and counsellor, and also as a dance instructor, Sherri brings a unique perspective that enhances her therapeutic practice, especially in her work with children and families. She has a profound connection with children, stemming from her time operating a preschool. Sherri passionately believes that true therapeutic progress in children can significantly enhance family dynamics, benefiting all members involved.

She strives to make each client feel seen, heard, and understood, allowing them to build confidence and secure the support necessary to navigate their difficulties and pursue meaningful change.
