Shon is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) specializing in the development of high-performance athletes, with a particular focus on change of direction and movement efficiency.
Through detailed athlete profiling and evidence-informed movement analysis, he identifies performance limiting factors and underlying inefficiencies to build targeted, results driven strategies. His approach is centered on aligning an athlete’s physical capacities with the true demands of their sport.
Shon believes that elite performance is built on the ability to control movement under high intensity, unpredictable conditions. By refining movement strategies, athletes can reduce injury risk while improving speed, reactivity, and overall performance output.
He has worked with athletes across multiple professional and elite pathways, including basketball, tennis, hockey, football, badminton, fencing, figure skating, table tennis, and volleyball.
With over a decade dedicated to the science of human movement, Shon continues to pursue advanced understanding in injury mitigation and performance optimization.
A significant focus of his current work is in elite youth development. He is actively building a high performance network across disciplines to better understand long term athlete development and to create structured pathways that prepare young athletes for the demands of professional sport.
