Simrat is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, holding both a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She is skilled in a variety of manual therapy techniques, which she integrates with her passion for exercise-based therapy to provide comprehensive care.
A former varsity basketball player, Simrat was recognized as a 4x CCAA Academic All-Canadian as the Captain of her univeristy team. Currently as a club-level basketball coach, Simrat has a deep passion for sports and working with athletes. Her firsthand experience as an athlete allows her to appreciate the delicate balance between performance and health, and she is dedicated to offering patient-centered care that promotes recovery, strength, and mobility. Her hospital experience has also lead to an understanding of joint replacement surgeries, management, and recovery!
With a strong commitment to movement, health, and fitness, Simrat enjoys hiking, playing basketball, weightlifting, and spending time at the beach in her free time

This 60 minute initial assessment allows time for your therapist to obtain a detailed history and perform a comprehensive physical examination to determine your injury diagnosis and rehab plan. This plan will include: activity restriction, initiating rehab exercises, and education on specific injury management. Manual treatment and education on self mobilizations will also be included in this session.
Please book this if you would like some extra time with your physio or if you are dealing with multiple injuries at the same time.
This is a follow-up appointment. If this is a NEW injury or it’s been > 3 months since your last visit, please book an INITIAL ASSESSMENT to allow your therapist sufficient time for thorough evaluation.
