About Skylar
Meet Skylar – Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Skylar is a kind, down-to-earth pelvic health physiotherapist who’s here to support people of all genders(male and female) on their pelvic health journey. Whether you’re dealing with pelvic pain, organ prolapse, prepping for birth, recovering postpartum, navigating incontinence, bladder or bowel concerns, Skylar offers personalized evidence-based care in a supportive, trauma informed, judgment-free space.
She’s passionate about helping you feel strong, informed, and confident in your body again.
She completed her Master of Physical Therapy through UBC’s North program, training mostly in rural and Northern BC communities. Before that, she earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC Okanagan. Skylar is deeply committed to culturally safe care and weaves the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action #18–24 into her practice when relevant.
Skylar moved to Kelowna from Ottawa in 2014. She’s volunteered with the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Council of BC (ISPARC), KidSport Kelowna, and PacificSport Okanagan, and has been coaching with the Okanagan Athletics Club for 10 years. Her belief in being active for life shines through in her physiotherapy—she blends dynamic movement, exercise prescription, IMS dry needling, manual therapy, and thoughtful rehab planning to help you return to what you love (or figure out your new “normal”).
Outside the clinic, you’ll probably find Skylar knitting, hiking, biking, camping, teaching pilates at Lagree or chasing a sunset—always soaking up everything the beautiful Syilx territory has to offer.
