Sofia graduated from Mohawk College Massage Therapy program with Honours in 2020. She gained clinical experience working with patients who have chronic pain conditions and injuries, and provided treatments at retirement homes, hospices, chronic pain and community clinics. Sofia has knowledge about injury prevention and recovery from working collaboratively with Physiotherapists and patients throughout their rehabilitation as a Physiotherapy Assistant.
Her aim is to adapt her techniques to the needs and goals of each patient. Using Massage Therapy to educate about physical health, how to restore functional movement and improve wellbeing.
In her treatments she offers Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Injury Prevention & Recovery, Manual Lymph Drainage, Prenatal, and Youth Massage techniques.
