Dr. Sonvir Brar is passionate about supporting moms through pregnancy and helping them feel comfortable, confident, and capable as their bodies change. She is trained in the Webster Technique, a pregnancy-specific chiropractic approach focused on optimizing pelvic balance, reducing tension in muscles and ligaments, and supporting comfort throughout pregnancy. Her goal is to help moms move and function at their best during this important and exciting stage of life.
Born and raised in British Columbia, Dr. Brar developed an early passion for movement and wellness that laid the foundation for her career in chiropractic care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University before moving to Portland, Oregon, to attend the University of Western States, where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Growing up, Dr. Brar was always drawn to movement—from playing competitive soccer to exploring various forms of exercise and physical activity. This active lifestyle sparked a deep interest in how the body moves and functions, ultimately leading her to a career focused on optimizing mobility, strength, and long-term resilience. She enjoys challenging her patients in a supportive way, helping them overcome functional limitations and build confidence in their bodies.
Dr. Brar uses Diversified technique and integrates cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and rehabilitation exercises into her treatments. She has experience working with patients of all ages and a wide range of conditions, with special interests in prenatal care, TMJ dysfunction, and athletic performance.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Brar enjoys staying active through soccer and hiking. She is committed to ongoing education and professional development to ensure her patients receive thoughtful, evidence-informed care.
