My name is Stacy and I live just outside of Bowden with my family. My extended members of the family include 2 cats, 5 dogs and 6 horses! I was born and raised in northern BC where my family are active in logging and farming. In 2012 I moved to Airdrie with my children for just a few short years as I discovered I was not meant to live in an urban area, I am a country bumpkin through and through! Shortly thereafter, I moved to Crossfield where I then decided that I was going to enroll in Massage therapy school. That was it for me! I found my calling! I graduated with full Honors from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2017. I actually started working as an associate MT in 2016 and taking continuing education courses as well. Since graduating I have continued taking continuing ed in RAPID NFR, Myofascial Cupping and PBMT (Photobiomodulation). I ran my own successful practice from 2017 to 2023 in Crossfield. In 2021 I met the man of my wildest dreams from Red Deer, which is what brought me to Bowden… nothing like meeting half-way. I am currently a level 3 Core Specialist in RAPID, have my Advanced Myofascial cupping certification and am working on the advanced certification in PBMT, Level 4 RAPID coming soon! My treatments focus on biomechanics and compensatory patterns caused by musculoskeletal dysfunction and trauma (physical and mental). I feel that I am best suited to assist those who are wanting a more therapeutic and deep tissue treatment but I don’t mind doing a relaxation treatment here and there. In 2019 I started researching PBMT… it actually blew my mind on the clinical effects it has on so many different ailments, not just for humans but animals as well. It is simply amazing and I can not express the extraordinary results that PBMT can produce! My system is the Bioflex Duo Professional (One of the leading 3B Laser manufacturers in the world). It is a class 3B laser which uses red light and near infrared. There are virtually no side effects, it is non-invasive, and has very few contraindications. I am very excited to offer this service to Innisfail and the surrounding area!
