In order for acupuncture to be most effective, it is important to receive regular and frequent treatments. Community acupuncture offers treatments on a sliding scale, between $30-$50. The initial appointment is $50 Acupuncture is offered in a large-room setting with other patients. Chairs are placed 6 feet apart and masks are required at all times. The treatment starts with an intake to go over your individual health concerns and reason for receiving acupuncture. Needles are inserted and retained for 20-40 minutes, while you relax with the other patients receiving treatment.

During your initial visit we will discuss your health history, birth plan and any concerns you may have about your pregnancy and upcoming labour. We will come up with a treatment plan to prepare your body for a smooth and healthy labour. Induction acupuncture can be done once past your due date and given medical clearance from your primary care provider. Acupuncture is safe and effective during all trimesters of pregnancy.
