**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Before pursuing an RMT career I was a high school student who worked in retail. I also did some volunteering at my local hospice and nursing home. My experience volunteering helped guide me towards a career path in healthcare as an RMT.
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
The reason I want to become an RMT is because I want to be able to have a positive impact on people. Whether it’s providing them a safe space to relax or helping them live their day to day life without pain. Becoming an RMT will allow me to make meaningful change in peoples lives.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
When I’m not at school, I am often reading or spending time with my friends and family. If it’s nice weather I will probably be camping at one of the many beautiful lakes or rivers in B.C.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favourite thing about VCMT has to be the community. Everyone in my cohort has become so close and we all support each other. VCMT has already led me to so many new friendships.
