With over 30 years of experience, Susan brings a deep passion for helping people feel their best through massage therapy. Her career began in Toronto, where she honed her skills in a variety of clinical and fitness settings, including a chiropractic clinic, sports medicine centre, fitness club, and a rehabilitation facility supporting clients with spinal cord injuries and amputations.
Before entering the world of massage therapy, Susan worked in the fitness industry, where she developed a strong understanding of how chronic pain often stems from muscle imbalances. This insight led her to become a certified Pilates instructor, trained in both mat and equipment work. By combining targeted exercise with focused massage treatments, Susan offers clients a well-rounded, effective approach to pain relief and physical wellness.
After relocating to South Carolina, Susan had the unique opportunity to work with high-performance tennis athletes at the academy where her husband coached and her children trained.
Today, she incorporates a wide range of modalities into her treatments, including Swedish massage, hot stone, prenatal, raindrop technique, cupping, and reflexology.
She is also a certified Reiki practitioner. Dedicated to professional growth, Susan is always looking to continue to expand her skill set and plans to pursue training in lymphatic drainage and active release techniques in the future.
