Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan, where she was honoured with the Clinical Excellence Award. She has completed extensive post-graduate training in both orthopedic and pelvic health physiotherapy and has studied with leading practitioners across Canada, France, Britain, Australia, Sweden, and the United States.
Throughout her career, Susan has been a leader in advancing collaborative health care in Calgary. She developed one of the city’s first multidisciplinary women’s health clinics, working alongside specialists in dermatology and obstetrics/gynecology to provide comprehensive care for vulvar, vaginal and pelvic conditions. She also previously owned the Calgary Sports Medicine Centre, where she brought together a collaborative team of healthcare professionals including orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, plastic surgeon, and sport medicine physicians. Susan has also trained and worked closely with urology specialists at the Alberta Bladder Centre, deepening her understanding of bladder health, medical diagnosis, and the many ways pelvic health concerns can impact someone’s daily life
She brings a meaningful blend of clinical expertise and compassion to her practice. She has completed her postgraduate certification in Gunn IMS, Spinal Manipulation and Pelvic Health. Susan treats a wide cross section of clients which includes Olympic athletes, competitive athletes, equestrians, pre/postnatal, endometriosis, pelvic post-surgical conditions, c-sections, etc…
