This appointment is for those needing their ADP application signed by an ADP-approved Authorizer in order to submit for funding for compression garments for lymphedema. The appointment will consist of a full health history, assessment, review of current management strategies but no manual lymph drainage will be provided.
Manual lymph drainage is helpful in reducing swelling from lymphedema, lipedema, following surgery or acute injury. In addition to hands-on treatment, an initial assessment may include taking baseline measurements, education about your condition and best-practices management, and guidance on self care.
