Hi! I’m Tabitha, a term 5 massage therapy student at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria! I am working towards my diploma in Registered Massage Therapy and building a strong foundation in evidence-informed practice.
In practice, I have developed a genuine passion for providing therapeutic, goal-oriented care, looking at the whole picture and utilizing a variety of different techniques to find out what works best for you and your body. **I take a special interest in working with folks experiencing chronic pain, connective tissue disorders, hyper mobility, anxiety and depression.**
I stay deeply connected to the world of movement. As an active synchronized swimmer, coach and previous personal trainer, my blend of athletic and coaching experience gives me a unique understanding of biomechanics, performance demands and the role massage therapy plays in recovery and long-term wellness.
My goal is to offer treatments that are safe, effective and tailored to each patients specific needs. I strive to create a genuinely supportive environment where patients feel informed, respected, and confident in their care. All are welcome here!
*Massage Therapy is a manual therapy that involves manipulation of the soft tissues of the body in order to promote health, wellness and improved function. As a student massage therapist, I am currently training in techniques such as General Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Pressure Release Therapy, Myofascial Release Therapy, Sports Massage and Joint Mobilizations.*
