Tania Dina is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia and over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. Tania currently also works as a Family Counsellor with the Family Preservation and Reunification Program at Family Services of Greater Vancouver, where she provides individual and family counselling, conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, and collaborates with clients to develop meaningful, achievable goals. She has extensive experience supporting families impacted by trauma, domestic abuse, separation and divorce, and parenting challenges, with a particular focus on children’s emotional wellbeing and healthy attachment.
Her clinical approach is integrative and evidence‑based, drawing from modalities such as Emotionally Focused and Gottman‑informed Couples Counselling, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative and Solution‑Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma‑informed practice. Tania also incorporates family systems approaches, play therapy, and attachment‑based parenting support when working with children and caregivers.
Tania offers a safe, collaborative, and non‑judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns, build insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change. She is passionate about empowering clients to strengthen relationships, heal from trauma, and move toward more connected and fulfilling lives.
