Tara graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology in 2009 and Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2011, both from Dalhousie University. She has taken specialty courses in orthopaedic manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, K-taping, and spinal decompression, and has completed her post-graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. She currently volunteers her time as a therapist at local and regional sporting events, and as secretary and treasurer for the Nova Scotia branch of Sport Physiotherapy Canada. When she is not in the clinic, Tara can be found staying active with her family on the trails and lakes of Cole Harbour or working on her home!
