I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology (Trent University), a Bachelor of Social Work degree (University of Windsor) and a Master of Social Work degree (University of Hawai`i at Mānoa).
I specialize in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, self-esteem and self-worth struggles, and support women during pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood. I also work with individuals during and after difficult life transitions and provide emotional literacy support.
I provide virtual counselling/therapy for residents of Alberta and Nova Scotia and offer in-person services in Airdrie, Alberta.

The scar tissue discovery call is an over-the-phone (not in-person at the clinic) 20-minute appointment with Laura Kreis. This is a space to ask any questions, make known any concerns, and ensure all vital details are known by the client before treatment (eg. was surgical mesh used in surgery?). If there are details not known, this gives time to contact the related healthcare professional for further clarification before the initial treatment. Please note that this call is not an assessment nor will provide clearance for treatment. The area(s) in question will always be assessed in person and declared clear for treatment at the initial scar tissue release treatment.
