Teresa understands how pain and injuries can get in the way of life and the things you love to do. After completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biological Science degree, Teresa decided to pursue a diploma in Massage Therapy in an effort to continue to expand her knowledge and skills focused around healing, helping and community.
Teresa likes to combine general Swedish massage with joint mobilizations, stretching techniques, trigger point therapy and proprioceptive techniques to create unique treatments that address patient goals. She aims to combine treatment with effective therapeutic home care to achieve the best outcomes. She is fascinated by the mind-body connection that massage therapy can provide and loves to see patients gain better body awareness as well as experience greater relaxation and reduced stress and anxiety.
