Mrs. Nguyen has over 20 years of experience in Social Work, with more than a decade specializing in mental health. She has served a diverse population in Lloydminster, working with individuals ranging from as young as 2 years old to 95.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and has extensive training in various therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Playful EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, Bereavement Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based Perspectives, among others.

Mrs. Nguyen lives in Lloydminster, AB, with her husband and two children. Her children are accomplished musicians, earning gold medals in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories. She dedicates much of her time to her family and is often seen attending their various sports and arts activities.
In her free time, she enjoys reading the Bible, praying, and volunteering at her local church, as her Christian faith is an important part of her life. She is also fluent in Vietnamese and, according to family and friends, makes the best “Pho” in Canada.
