#TIM CHOW
_(Registered Massage Therapist)_
**BKin, RMT, CS2, NKT Level 3**
Tim is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist with over a decade of experience in both clinical and wellness settings. His practice is rooted in the belief that empowering clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation leads to the best long-term outcomes.
While Tim is highly regarded for his specialized neurological work, he remains a "therapist’s therapist" at heart. He is skilled in Traditional Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial Release. Whether you are looking for a firm, localized treatment to work out "knots" or a comprehensive session to improve your range of motion, Tim’s manual therapy techniques provide the deep, structural pressure needed to create lasting physical change.
The "Full-System" Approach
Tim’s unique strength lies in his ability to blend traditional massage with advanced neurological and manual techniques. By integrating his background in Kinesiology from York University with deep tissue work, he helps clients move beyond temporary relief to address the underlying drivers of pain and dysfunction.
Specialized Modalities
NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT®) NKT is a sophisticated assessment tool that addresses "movement software" issues in the brain. Tim uses manual muscle testing to identify compensation patterns—where one muscle is overworking to make up for a "lazy" one. By releasing the overactive tissue and "re-programming" the weak link, NKT resets these patterns for more efficient movement.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) This is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to soothe the central nervous system. By focusing on the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, CST is particularly effective for headaches, concussions, or the physical effects of chronic stress.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) MLD is a specialized, light-touch technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid. This helps the body efficiently remove metabolic waste and excess fluid, making it an excellent choice for post-surgical swelling, injury recovery, and supporting immune health.
Outside of the clinic, Tim stays active playing basketball and exploring new hiking trails. When he’s not on the move, you might find him tackling a complex jigsaw puzzle or a challenging board game. He values deep connection—both in his clinical practice and his personal life—and finds fulfillment in helping the Calgary community feel and move better every day.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on treatment that releases deep tension, relieves pain, and supports overall performance and well-being. Using a light touch, our therapists assess and balance the craniosacral system (the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord), helping reset your nervous system so your body can relax, self-correct, and heal more efficiently.

Optimize Your Flow. Enhance Your Healing. Your lymphatic system is the body’s "internal drainage system," responsible for clearing out waste, toxins, and excess fluid while supporting your immune health. When this system becomes sluggish or overwhelmed—due to surgery, injury, or illness—it can lead to swelling, discomfort, and a slower recovery. At MOVE TO MOVE, we offer Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), a specialized, gentle technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid by encouraging the natural drainage of the body’s tissues, we help you reduce inflammation and get back to moving with ease.
NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) is a sophisticated assessment and treatment protocol that allows our therapists to communicate directly with your brain’s motor control center to find and fix these hidden imbalances. NKT uses specialized manual muscle testing to identify: The Overactive Muscle: The one that is tight and doing too much work. The Underactive Muscle: The one that has "shut down" and isn't firing properly. By releasing the overactive muscle and immediately "waking up" the underactive one, we reset the neurological loop, teaching your brain a more efficient and pain-free way to move.
