When we are holding onto many forms of grief and stress, we must remember that energy moves energy. All our personal experiences become imprinted into our being, making it crucial to connect the physical to the emotional. Kundalini yoga can help to guide us in reacting to the ups and downs from a more neutral headspace. This ancient healing practice is one of the original forms of yoga, and its technologies have been scientifically proven to activate specific parts of your brain that increase awareness and generate more balanced control. Through breath, specific movements, meditation and chanting, this practice works to increase the nervous system on a cellular level and increase your energetic and personal awareness.
The Sonic Quilt is a sound healing, meditation group that requires no personal sharing. In this group we practice breathwork and meditation to prepare the body for deep relaxation during a 30 min sound bath using quartz crystal bowls, gong and other instruments. Attendees will have time to journal after the sound session to put what was experienced onto paper and out of the consciousness.
