Trisha’s journey started after graduating from Simon Fraser University as a Kinesiologist, where she had the opportunity to experience a multidisciplinary rehabilitation approach to promote quality of life improvements for clients. This experience fuelled her desire to become a physiotherapist. Her passion then took her to the U.S.A and then to Australia where she culminated her desire to become a physiotherapist and obtained a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Bond University in Australia. Trisha’s passion for helping clients achieve their physical goals, reduce pain, improve their quality of life and help increase mobility are the pillars that build the foundation for her everyday practice.
Trisha's aim is to focus on evidence-based research and advanced practice interventions while designing and implementing therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual clients' needs. Studying internationally provided Trisha a great opportunity to expand cultural awareness, discover local customs and learn specialized physiotherapy techniques. After gaining work experience in Australia with a focus in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, Trisha has returned to the Lower Mainland where she plans to help members of the community she grew up in. She also has a passion in pediatrics, and women’s health in which she completed her internship. She plans to use all of her experiences and knowledge to motivate her clients to achieve their desired health goals.
During her free time, you can find Trisha enjoying nature, hiking, paddle-boarding, or camping. Additionally, she enjoys traveling and exploring destinations around the world to learn about different cultures and food. Trisha is very creative and enjoys painting, cooking, and baking.
