Tunji is a multisystem physiotherapist with extensive experience in all areas of physiotherapy. He has 32 years experience as a physiotherapist..
He has worked in Nigeria, South Africa, and Republic of Ireland.
Tunji moved to Canada in 2008 and worked in Ottawa until October 2014 when he relocated to Alberta.
As a physiotherapist Tunji has also been very involved with the Governance part of the Profession. As a student physiotherapist, he was Secretary General of the Nigeria Association of Physiotherapy Students. In Ireland, he was a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and a Council member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee. In Ontario, Tunji was a member of the Registration Committee of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and was a member of the Canadian delegation at the World Confederation of Physical Therapy Congress in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2019.
His clinical experience ranges from Orthopedics, Sports, post surgical rehabilitation, Long-term care and Retirement Homes, Out-patient clinics and Clinical supervision.
Administratively, Tunji has been a Unit Head, Senior Physiotherapist, a Lead Physiotherapist and a Chief Physiotherapist in various large Hospitals, Regional Hospitals and a Teaching Hospital from Nigeria, South Africa and Canada.
In all of these countries, Tunji has established and managed successful out patient clinics.
In 2015, Tunji established Riverside Physiotherapy Clinic, Drumheller. It has now grown to a multi-location group of clinics in Three Hills, Innisfail, Carstairs and Trochu.
Tunji Bello is a people person, very passionate about physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He enjoys playing ping-pong, boxing and wrestling, as well as hiking with his two boys and friends.
Tunji enjoys travelling and good food.
