We are thrilled to introduce Vanessa Furlong as our newest team member at The Pelvic Health Clinic and hope that many of our clients will find Vanessa's warmth, skill and unconditional acceptance a true help along their healing journey.

Vanessa is a graduate of Yorkville University with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. After
completing an undergraduate degree in performance arts, Vanessa spent 20 years touring
nationally and internationally as a creator and educator specializing in mental health advocacy. More recently, she has worked within the mental health services of both the IWK and MSVU Counselling Services.
Vanessa understands parenting challenges and complex family dynamics. She has experience working with chronic & persistent pain, medical trauma and grief. Vanessa is interested in reproductive health across the lifespan: from sexual health and gender identity issues, to fertility and perinatal concerns, and onto perimenopause and menopausal changes, she brings warmth and kindness to her practice. Vanessa has a keen interest in working within the pelvic health specialty and commits herself to meeting each client where they are to help them identify their counselling goals and work towards the life they long for.

A complimentary 15-minute conversation with our Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) for those interested in individual & relationship counselling therapy. This session gives you the opportunity to meet the practitioner, share a bit about your past experiences with counselling or psychology services, and ask any questions you may have. Please note: This is not a counselling intake assessment. Following this call, you may choose to book a full intake session if you wish to move forward with therapy.
