Vera James
SaveVera James was born and raised in Calgary. She’s been practicing as a massage therapist since 2003 with training from MRU and finishing her certification at Calgary College of Holistic Health.
Her training was originally inspired by receiving treatments herself due to her personal injuries. Massage therapy was a big contribution to her healing process.
Her practice then evolved when she was discovered by how beautifully the human body was created to heal.

She believes that we are created to move and progress in every area of our being- mind, body and spirit. If any of these areas are neglected, the body becomes resistant to heal.
Vera is on an intentional quest of becoming into the best version of herself. She and her husband Scott have two young children. They recently moved to Cochrane from Calgary.
She is a woman of Faith. Fitness and nutrition are an integral part of cultivating her growth. Outside of her massage practice, you will find her deepening her faith in her Creator, exploring in nature with her family and building relationships with new friends in her community.
Vera’s love for massage therapy is beyond a job but a life style. Whether your need is treatment on a localized injury, pre/post-natal, sports therapy, relaxation, or deep tissue, her desire is to customize her treatments for each individual.
She is also trained with myofascial cupping, Thai massage and deep tissue massage. These are all incorperated in each of her treatments. Come and have a visit with her and experience a full holistic healing treatment that will have your body moving the way it’s design to.
