AjouterPassionate about her profession, Dr. Victoria Resendes is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor devoted to helping individuals lead healthy, balanced lives. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and continued her post-graduate education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where she received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine designation in 2006.

Taking a scientific, evidence-based approach to naturopathic care, Dr. Resendes implements a variety of therapies—including acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet modification, nutritional supplementation and lab testing—to create effective individualized treatment plans. She sees patients of all ages—from infants to seniors—and has a strong focus on women’s health, paediatrics, dermatology and digestive concerns. Adding to her naturopathic training, Dr. Resendes has also completed studies in complementary cancer care, chronic inflammatory/immune diseases and is a certified Facial Rejuvenation/Cosmetic Acupuncturist.
Grateful for the opportunity to promote health and well-being to the public, she has been a guest speaker for various charity and corporate functions and has also been a featured health and wellness expert in the media — both in print and on television.
Outside of the clinic setting, Dr. Resendes enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends—playing tennis, camping, running or bike riding along the boardwalk.

Choose this if you have been away from acupuncture care here at MCA Wellness Clinic for 6 months or more. The acupuncturist will reassess/reactivate your program of care at this visit.
A focused short follow-up for existing patients to review current symptoms, digestion, sleep, stress, and overall progress. This visit may include tongue and pulse observation along with general wellness, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations. No acupuncture needles are used during this appointment.
