Vivian became interested in studying traditional chinese medicine after a yin yoga teacher training where some tcm philosophy was introduced. She hesitated on studying acupuncture, as she is afraid of needles, so she started studies in herbal medicine once a colleague suggested she study tcm. Once she started her studies, she realized there is a long history and depth to the art and science of traditional chinese medicine that will take a commitment to continual learning, to which she is well suited as a dedicated lifelong learner in the field of health and wellness.
Traditional chinese medicine acupuncture is excellent for maintaining optimal health of the body and mind. As a form of preventative medicine, attending to minor health concerns is particularly effective along with a healthy lifestyle. Vivian has a high level of expertise with musculoskeletal injuries or pain. She has also seen the benefits of acupuncture for relaxation/stress relief, headaches, insomnia, skin conditions, digestive issues, menstrual issues and facial rejuvenation/cosmetic acupuncture.
