Thus, helping reduce pain and inflammation. Moxibustion can be very beneficial for chronic pain, joint pain, digestive issues, menstrual cramps, and stress/anxiety. It is also often used to correct breech positioning during maternity. Moxibustion has proved to be an efficient method to facilitate a baby's turn from becoming breech without needing to seek medical assistance. This treatment can be booked under "Acupuncture" as a "Subsequent Acupuncture Treatment for 60 minutes" (which can include acupuncture only, or acupuncture with moxibustion).
Acupuncture can be combined with Cupping. Cupping is an ancient form of therapy in which round-shaped glass cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This "suction" aims to promote blood flow, which facilitates the flow of "qi" within the body. Cupping can help reduce muscle aches and pains and can also benefit those who have COPD, Asthma, Bronchitis, Fibromyalgia, Cold, Fever, Deep Cough problems. When combined with Acupuncture, it can greater improve the results of our session. This treatment can be booked online under "Acupuncture" as a "Subsequent Acupuncture Treatment for 60 minutes" (which can include acupuncture only, or acupuncture with cupping).
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture or cosmetic acupuncture, is a natural method of promoting skin health and reducing signs of aging, by using fine needles to stimulate specific points on the face and body. It works by stimulating blood flow and collagen production to the face, which are essential in skin elasticity and firmness. It also seeks to restore balance and promote overall well-being by balancing your body’s energy (or Qi), as Traditional Chinese Medicine principles suggest that any imbalances in Qi can contribute to aging. Benefits can include: reducing wrinkles and fine lines, improving skin tone and texture, lifting sagging skin, reducing puffiness and swelling, and reducing dark circles and age spots. Often considered as “natural botox,” facial rejuvenation/cosmetic acupuncture influences the long term health of your skin, rather than just the superficial signs of aging.
