Wendy has 20 years of acupuncture and holistic bodywork experience. Wendy offers a unique treatment approach that incorporates eastern and western philosophies of health – combining skilled pulse diagnosis and gentle acupuncture with massage and cupping to treat pain syndromes, sports injuries, muscle tension, stress and many other health issues.
Wendy loves introducing people to acupuncture, she believes that acupuncture can have a positive impact on most health conditions. And it has the added bonus of some great side effects - having a treatment is like having a mini vacation, it resets your nervous system from flight and fright to mindfulness and calm, you enjoy a deep rest and reconnect with yourself, while your body gets on with the business of healing itself.
Wendy’s approach to treatment is a result of her varied training. She holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. Prior to that she received diplomas in remedial massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and reiki. She is a yoga teacher and loves to run, when her knees allow.
