Xiaoyu (Yura) Qiu

Her treatment approach includes osteopathic joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and soft tissue therapy, with a focus on identifying and addressing musculoskeletal and postural dysfunction. She works with clients experiencing pain, stiffness, tension, and movement restrictions, helping them improve function and feel more comfortable in everyday life.

Yura brings a strong background in movement and body awareness to her practice. She has trained in Chinese classical dance for more than 20 years and participated in cheerleading throughout high school and university, winning national-level championships. She also has more than 10 years of experience studying and practicing yoga, which further strengthens her understanding of posture, alignment, and body mechanics.

In addition to her osteopathic training, Yura is certified in Traditional Thai Massage through the Bangkok Expertise Thai Massage Workshop and the International Association of Thai Massage. This background adds depth to her hands-on approach and enhances her ability to address muscle tension, soft tissue restriction, and overall body balance with care and precision.

She is a member of the Alliance Canadienne Medecine Alternative Association (ACMA) and is registered with the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths of Canada (CRMO).
