Yan‘s love for exercise and human movement began at a young age. She was always very active.
Her passion for therapy emerged after many years of playing competitive sports and recovery from personal injuries. She feels that pain is very personal and can be complex and is best treated by looking at the person as a whole and not just their injury. She has many years massage experience and she knows acupuncture points, she likes fascia and trigger points release . combined some other techniques together help her patients release the pain. She is particularly interested in treating neck , shoulder injuries, back, hips and leg pain , headaches , TMJD and help patients decrease their stress levels and so on.
In her personal life, Yan enjoys competitive badminton, hiking, bouldering, running. She has won some trophies in badminton. Also enjoys long hiking such as doing golden ears and black tusk .
She prides herself in taking an active role in your recovery by taking the time to listen to your story, working from the heart, and trying her best to reignite hope and optimism.
She also has IASTM ( Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization ) certificates for both upper and lower body.
Her first language it’s mandarin, but she also can speak cantonese and fluently speaking English.
