Shockwave Therapy is a physical therapy technique that delivers high-frequency sound waves into the body. It is commonly employed to address conditions such as tendonitis, calcifications, shin splints, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, and bursitis. The primary objectives are pain relief, reduction of inflammation, and the repair of injured soft tissue. Unlike therapeutic ultrasound, Shockwave Therapy operates at a deeper level and can effectively break down calcifications and scar tissue.
