Yaruuna believes in a holistic approach to physiotherapy. To her, this means addressing the whole person beyond just the area of injury/concern. This involves looking at overall posture, movement patterns, nervous system regulation, personal goals, and the wider context of the person’s life stage. The goal with this approach is to provide both short-term relief and create long-term changes. Using therapeutic exercise and manual therapy, Yaruuna strives to empower clients by making movement accessible and sustainable for all bodies.

Yaruuna’s own interests in yoga and dance inform her practice. Additionally, she has a special clinical interest in working with the hypermobility spectrum. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and making art.
