Joanne is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT), where she earned placement on the Honour Roll in recognition of her academic achievement and dedication to excellence.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Joanne is committed to helping clients move and feel their best. Through her clinical training and outreach placements at UBC, SFU, senior living communities, and community programs, she gained experience working with athletes, older adults, office workers, and individuals with special needs.
Drawing on a strong interest in anatomy, pathology, and rehabilitation, Joanne takes an evidence-informed approach to care. Her treatments may incorporate Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, trigger point release, myofascial therapy, joint mobilizations, and therapeutic stretching, tailored to each client's goals and comfort level.
Joanne believes that no two clients are alike. She takes the time to listen, understand each individual's concerns, and create a treatment experience that meets their unique needs. Whether clients enjoy conversation or prefer a quiet, relaxing session, she strives to provide a welcoming environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and respected.

This treatment is ideal for individuals experiencing facial puffiness, fluid retention, sinus congestion, headaches, jaw tension or TMJD, post-surgical or post-dental swelling, and stress-related tension. This treatment is not recommended in cases of infection, or when swelling is related to active cancer complications, kidney failure, or other unmanaged systemic medical conditions.
