Zahidah is pursuing a career that is her passion gives Zahida the motivation to treat her patients using the latest evidence-based treatment strategies.
She graduated from Gulf Medical University, U.A.E., in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and completed her Transitional Doctor of Physiotherapy at King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, in 2014. Being internationally educated and experienced in both the U.A.E. and Pakistan, she further explored the Canadian way of practice by completing the Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program at the University of Toronto in 2020. She is also certified in the GLA:D program.
Her experience working in different countries with diverse populations has allowed her to appreciate various cultures and values. Zahida’s treatment approach focuses on identifying the root cause of a condition and creating individualized exercise programs to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle.
She is certified in vestibular and concussion treatment and is currently enrolled in the FCAMPT program, having completed Level 2.
