Born and raised in Spruce Grove, Zak Palek graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2018. In addition, Zak is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Ultimately, Zak’s experience in sport is what lead him to pursue a career in Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning. As a result of playing football for 14 years, including 3 years with the University of Alberta, Zak spent a lot of time with rehab professionals, including Dr. Cubos, rehabbing his own injuries.
Zak now enjoys working with a wide range of individuals including elite, recreational, and developmental athletes, as well as everyday people of all ages and activity levels. His treatment approach emphasizes exercise and education complimented by manual therapy.
