Emily is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She specializes in supporting clients navigating depression, anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, self-esteem challenges, people-pleasing patterns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, neurodivergence, and other emotional and relational concerns. She also has experience working with complex mental health presentations, including borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or disconnected from themselves and their support systems, even when things may appear “fine” on the outside. You may find yourself struggling to make sense of your emotions, feeling out of control internally, or wondering why certain experiences continue to feel so heavy or difficult to manage. Many also notice a long-standing pattern of prioritizing others’ needs while struggling to recognize or attend to their own.
Emily’s approach is client-centred, strength-based, and trauma-informed. She offers a warm, supportive space where clients can show up as they are, without pressure to have everything figured out. In a fast-paced world, she helps clients slow down, better understand their emotional experiences, and explore pathways for meaningful change.
Together, the work focuses on building self-awareness, strengthening self-compassion, and developing more balanced and sustainable ways of living and relating to others, while supporting you in working toward your goals and recognizing your growth along the way.
