Christian counselling combines your faith with the principles of psychology to improve your mental health. It uses biblical foundations and scriptures and it focuses on the care of the whole person body, soul, and spirit while maintaining the values taught in the bible. Being aware that God has given us an understanding into the brain and nervous system, that we are created with a mind, body and soul. Because religious faith can play a significant role in an individuals life, many counselling clients who identify as Christian or having a faith-based feel more comfortable seeing a counsellor who shares their belief.
