Chinese Herbs with Acupuncture Student Clinic Treatment
(please take note that treatments may last between 75-90 min for students early in their training, instead of the typical 60 min treatment length) Our student therapists have your healing process in mind. Each treatment will be specially tailored to suit your needs and will include an herbal assessment and may also include: acupuncture, tuina massage, moxabustion, guasha or cupping. Always inform your therapist if a specific modality is preferred.
Anyone is welcome to book their first visit in this clinic. However, follow up appointments will only be available to those who take herbs prescribed by our students.
Our students will treat either on their own or in groups of 2 or 3 and are supervised.
Students/supervisors will all be wearing PPE and following Public Health and CTCMPAO protocols.

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
